Terms and Conditions

• Please to arrive on time, to allow for a smooth transition of field users and their dogs

• All dog waste must be picked up and placed in the bins provided.

• Please take all other rubbish home with you.

• Please make sure the gate is closed securely after you.

• You are responsible for your dog/s at all times.

• All dogs must be wormed and up to date with vaccinations.

• Please take care when walking in the meadow it maybe uneven in places.

• You, your dog/s and anyone with you, use the Bark Park at your own risk.

• Please ensure you have appropriate insurance to cover any injury or loss to your dog

• Check the perimeter fencing on arrival to check for any damage. Every effort is made on regular checks of the fence but the responsibility is your own

• Pet and human first aid kits are available at the park. Please inform us if you use anything from these. 

• You are welcome to use our Toy Libraries. Please return toys at the end of your session.

• Any vehicle is left at your own risk.

• Dog/s should not be left unattended or tethered at any time.

• No Smoking or fires.

• Any equipment/toys in the field are suitable for Dog use only.

• Dengie Bark Park has the right to refuse entry or evict customers from the premises if activities are deemed to be unreasonable.

• Any late arrivals must still adhere to their allotted departure time.

• Please take extra care when exiting the park as large farm traffic uses the road.  

• If you leave the field before your allotted time is over, you will still be charged for the full time.

• Customers will still be charged in full if you do not arrive for your slot (Please see Cancellation policy below).

• Professional hirers (dog walkers, trainers etc) must use their own insurance when using the field.

• Disclaimer - in keeping with the law regarding responsible dog ownership, you are completely responsible for you and your dog's safety and welfare whilst at our Bark Park and surrounding private property. You should be in control of your dog at all times. Dengie Bark Park therefore will accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or death.

Guidance to XL Bully Owners

XL Bullies are Welcome at Dengie Bark Park

​

In line with our Insurance company's policy, we are happy to welcome XL Bullies at Dengie Bark Park on the following basis:

​

1. The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate can be obtained by Dengie Bark Park Ltd and provided to our Insurer in the event of a claim.

2. A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog can be obtained by Dengie Bark Park Ltd and provided to our Insurer in the event of a claim.

3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times, unless with dogs from the same household

4. The dog is Neutered – in line with Government Rules

5. The dog is Micro Chipped

6. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when entering the field

7. The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field

8. Customers can remove the lead and muzzle once inside the secured field

9. If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together, the lead and muzzle of the banned breed can be removed once in the field

10. If there are dogs from different households, the banned breed will need to remain muzzled and on a lead at all times with a 1:1 handler​​
